WAIT I CAN EXPLAIN
OKAY SO I was working over the break last week (mindblowing revelation alert: I’m a seasonal Walt Disney World cast member) and I was at stage assist, which is the position where you don’t have anything to do besides close vehicle doors and yell at people for stepping over the yellow line, and when I heard somebody use the “world’s biggest movie fan” script option, my poor Homestuck-addled brain went “heehee John Egbert would totally have an awesome time working here.” My brain then followed this thought with, “wait, Jake likes movies too - oh never mind, Jake would 100% be a Jungle Cruise skipper” and then proceeded to establish that Tavros would work in Fantasyland and get excited whenever he got rotated to Peter Pan’s Flight (duh), Aradia would work next door to me at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, and Vriska would work at Pirates but quickly get fired for shoving kids onto the boat if they got scared and wanted to chicken out. And then I got rotated to a position where I had to actually had to use my brain, so somebody else will have to figure out the rest of castmemberstuck, sorry.
And that’s how I spent my Thanksgiving vacation.
p.s. I drew him in the old costumes because those are the ones that don’t suck.

homestuckjokes:

I was TRYING to make an unfunny OOC log out of all the worst jokes that were sent in, as an example of what would happen if we actually used everything instead of being smart about it.  Then I started adding in my own stuff and hitting up randomlinktime for more and the log was actually funny and I think I failed completely.

Source:  Lots of anons, bardofspades, randomlinktime, pwoper-fish, paulscoolplace, and original (urlguys, bladekindeyewear)

Hooray for 1800 followers!  You guys are all amazing, and should submit more jokes.

This is simultaneously the best and worst thing I’ve read in my entire life.

I want my tombstone to be engraved with “gay gay poop butts go climb a wall of dicks.”

Homestuck Challenge- Day Four: Your favoutite page[s]
For me, my favourite pages were the ones with everyone’s letters to one another (pages: 1912, 2659, 2991, 2997, 3035, 3562, 3610, 3857, 5296).
I tried so hard not to cry rereading these letters.
I decided to do like a found poem/ cut and paste thing with their letters into one whole things that might not even make sense, but the point is… The letters written in those pages are simply heartfelt. It was hard not to cry for me, even if it was Dad’s simple message that he was “SO, SO PROUD” of John.
I don’t know, there’s a human element written in these letters I can’t describe.
